Roller box repair process

1、 Disassemble and classify the Roller box.


2、 Repair the original dimensions of the work roll and intermediate roll.

Remove the work roll and intermediate roll for chromium removal treatment.

Measure the runout of the work roll and intermediate roll after chromium removal treatment on the machine tool. If there is a large runout, it should be straightened.

Fine grinding the work roll, intermediate roll, and then polishing.

Perform chrome plating treatment on the work roll and intermediate roll, with a single-sided chrome plating of about 15 threads. (Due to the chrome plating thickness of the original roller being around 5 threads on one side, as well as the wear and tear after chrome removal and the need for further precision grinding after chrome plating, the thickness of chrome plating on one side should be around 15 threads.)

Refine and polish the chrome plated work roll and intermediate roll to restore their original size.


3、 Support Roller repair.

First, disassemble and clean the support roller.

Workmanship equipment is used to polish the surface of the support roller. (If some of the supporting roller surfaces have a large grinding size, chrome plating is required to restore the uniform size.)

Replace imported bearings, seals, and add oil for assembly.


4、 Clean the roller box and bearing seat, and reinstall the repaired work roller (replace the flat bearings at both ends), middle roller, and support roller.


5、 Installation and debugging.
