Scope of application: Metal cutting processing leveling (cross cutting, cutting, swing cutting, longitudinal cutting)


Material selection: GCr15, forged 9Cr2Mo.


Process requirements: 

1. Quenching and tempering treatment HB280-320.

2. The surface hardness of the roller is HRC62-65, and the depth of the hardened layer is 5-7mm.

3. Defects are not allowed in magnetic inspection.

4. The surface of the work roll is chrome plated, with a chrome layer thickness of 0.06-0.08.

5. In the same batch of work rolls, the allowable diameter error must be less than 0.015mm.

Instructions for Use


Installation and Debugging

Before installing the work roll, it is necessary to check for any damage or foreign objects on the surface of the roll body to ensure a clean installation environment.

Install according to the equipment manual, adjust the gap and pressure between the rollers to ensure smooth operation.

When using for the first time, a no-load test run is required to check for any abnormal vibration or noise.

Solution: Re grind the surface of the roller body or adjust the pressure distribution parameters.
